The University of Michigan Health System Child Care Center opened in 1991 to serve the child care needs of the faculty and staff of the University of Michigan Health System.
The Center currently cares for the infants, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners of close to 200 families.
The mission of the Center is to provide quality early childhood care for the children of parents working at the University of Michigan Health System.
Both full-and part-time programs are available. The program is designed to meet the special needs of infant, toddler, preschool children in a safe and nurturing environment.
The Center's goal is to strengthen the bridge between your work and family life by creating a special place that supports them both.
The Center environment provides emotional and social support with clearly defined cognitive learning objectives.
It also offers a variety of multicultural experiences that support the integrity of each child's family.
As a part of the University of Michigan, we strive to enhance the educational experience by seeking diversity among the participating children and families.
