KTS is helping my son in wonderful ways. Academically, Socially, and Emotionally the school and its staff are helping him grow, develop, and master critical skills and content. KTS is a wonderful school with outstanding staff.

My daughter transferred here in 8th grade and it was a wonderful change. She Ives in school and has been pushed and supported in a way that is remarkable.

KTS helped our child enormously. She attended from pre-K through grade 1 and received three years of concentrated help with social thinking, pragmatic language, and OT. She is now in a mainstream private school performing at the top of her class. KTS offers a team of professionals to help each child -- in the early grades there are nearly as many adults in the room as kids -- and the speech pathologists are especially skilled. Best of all, the kids feel happy, safe and fulfilled as they are improving vital skills. KTS works hard to put together classes of peers that all have something positive to offer one another; watching those bonds form is really beautiful. We initially had some misgivings with going the special ed route, but the help KTS provided us justified our decision, and now our child is thriving at a typical school.

Have a daughter on the high end of Autism Spectrum and we were looking for a smaller learning environment for Middle School and we found it here. With MCPS she had been switched to consult status for OT and Speech, at KTS she has both again plus counselling. Her reading has quadrupled, she has read 8 books and done a written or oral report on each (1st semester is not over yet)! The true team approach is great at KTS.
