I went to this school from pre-k to 1st grade before transferring to public schools. I am currently a senior in high school. I remember a lot about Oak Chapel. I had lots of friends, I had great teachers, and the playground was amazing. I also remember participating in plays and dances which were required, but they were interesting. I also participated in a karate club which I abandoned because it did not meat my standards as a young child. We did crab walks and rolls, not much punching and kicking, and I grew impatient. Most importantly, I have not a single bad memory from this school. And academically, I was successful. I read my first book in kindergarten, Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss. Today, I am among the top 1% of students in writing, math, and critical reading. I''m not sure how much this school has changed in 10 years, but back then it was great, and I assume it only improved.
