School Reviews

As the other reviews have stated, MSOW is brilliant. I love the individual attention the students are able to receive to further their emotional and educational development. I have heard of other students moving onto different kindergartens and the parents have had to hire tutors because their kids were so far ahead in the math game thanks to this school. My daughter has been going to this school for 3 years. I highly recommend it!

The Montessori School of Washington (MSOW) is a small loving school with amazing teachers. Our daughter has been there for 2 years and we have seen her grow and blossom in so many ways; including her ability to express her thoughts, work with others, and be more independent. Since starting school she has become more self-aware and open to new things. We love the daily updates in the form of videos and pictures. The curriculum exceeds our expectations and have noticed our daughter showing interest in art and reading. I was impressed at the level of science experiments, the introduction to math concepts, and art projects. If you are looking for a preschool in the DC area MSOW is truly a hidden gem with a wonderful community of parents.

My son looks forward to going to school every day and loves telling me stories of how his day went on our car ride home. This school is highly recommended!

We started our little one at MSOW when he was under two and have had a great experience! The environment is nurturing, supportive, and caring. The teachers truly love the kids and the small class sizes are great for attention, with sound adherence to Montessori development principles. We got useful updates and photos throughout the day through an app together with an end-of-day summary. It is amazing to see his growth and development. We highly recommend this amazing preschool!
