Brighton Academy (Closed 2006)

The Brighton School Partridge Campus is a specialized elementary school for K- 6th grade children with dyslexia and other related learning differences.
We feature a low student-teacher ratios and small classroom sizes.
Class placement is determined by progress and proficiency and also by the psycho-educational evaluation for the individual student.
Our teachers are certified and trained in the essential component of effective educational programs of students with dyslexia and other related learning differences.
They provide direct instruction in self-contained classrooms. Intensive individualized programs utilize multisensory techniques and research based instructional methods.
We also provide accommodations and modifications as needed or as designated by the psycho-educational evaluation.
All of our teachers are closely supervised by the Director of Curriculum & Instruction and the Dyslexia Coordinator.
