Westwood Christian School

Westwood Christian School has offered a superior education for over 65 years in the Miami area.
The campus sits on 42 acres of beautiful land in Horse Country and is home to over 600 students from K-2 through twelfth grade.
Since 1959, Westwood Christian has been recognized for its academic excellence and Christian principles teaching.
Students are instructed from a Biblical view with values that are taught and practiced in everyday school life.
The sequence of our courses is carefully maintained throughout each level in order to prepare students for their future education level. Preschool students learn in a fun and interactive program emphasizing the fundamentals of reading, phonics, counting and numbers. Elementary students gain a foundation of fundamental skills and concepts essential in a fun, active environment. Middle and high school students are challenged in core classes: Math, English, History, and Science. Honors, Dual Enrollment and Advanced Placement courses are availble for students that are interested and meet these course requirements. (Westwood Christian follows the course codes established by the Florida Department of Education).
In addition to the academic fundamentals, our program includes enrichment opportunities in the fine arts, technology, physical education, languages and sports. We have a professional, passionate and committed staff that are focused on preparing and enriching the lives of each of the students they teach.
We pride ourselves in ensuring that our graduates are well prepared to enter the best universities and to succeed in the path God has for them. We welcome you to visit our campus and personally experience our friendly and safe educational environment.
